GET INVOLVED

There are several ways you can help us make this film:

  • Spread the Word – Do you believe in the project and think it can make some kind of impact? If so then use the power of words and share your thoughts with your contacts! Write about it in your blog! Get others interested in it! Spread the word on Twitter, Facebook and other destinations! Our project largely relies on word of mouth, so please consider making the leap from just following the project to helping it make an impact.
  • VolunteerWe need volunteers to set up screenings of the movie in their home towns. Read our volunteer post to learn more about what is involved and how you can help.
  • Donate Money – It’s no secret that movies are expensive to make & promote. We’ve been fortunate enough to raise enough to keep the production going, but we will need more to finish the film. Even small donations from many people add up!
  • Donate Time – Another way you can help us is with you time and skills. Perhaps you are a lawyer and can help us when it’s time to write contracts. Or perhaps you have experience writing grants and can assist us as we apply for filmmaking grants. Maybe you are a graphic designer, or a composer, or an expert at marketing. Whatever your skill and experience, if you think you can help us and want to get involved, please drop us an email and let us know. We’re a small team and can use all the help we can get and besides, we really want to make Class Dismissed a people-powered film. Your involvement on any level will be greatly appreciated and you can get credit on the film!
  • Help Us Research – We’re always on the lookout for interesting stories about homeschooling and homeschoolers. The internet is a big place and many hands make light work, so if in the course of your web surfing you find a great article, blog, website link or simply want to share with us something that is relevant to homeschooling or alternative education, send us an email and we’ll check it out. And better yet, if you know of anyone, yourself included, that has an interesting story to tell about homeschooling, we’d love to hear from you.
